The Society of Fellows at Dartmouth College invites applications for
two-year postdoctoral fellowships. These fellowships foster the academic
careers of scholars who have recently received their Ph.D. degrees.
Fellows pursue their research while gaining mentored experience as
teachers and members of the departments or programs in which they are
housed.

For the 2026-2028 cohort, we seek candidates for a fellowship in the
Department of Economics, with specialization in economic history. We are
particularly interested in candidates whose research involves novel
approaches to large-scale historical data and intersects with other
applied fields like labor, public finance, and political economy.
Applicants must hold a PhD, or be ABD, in a relevant discipline, with
degree conferred between January 1, 2024 and June 30, 2026. For a
