Newcastle University (UK) invites applications for the Peter and Norah Lomas PhD Scholarship, commencing in September 2025. The Scholarship covers full fees and includes a maintenance stipend for three years. It is made possible by a generous gift from Peter Lomas, an alumnus of the class of 1949. Per the terms of the gift, the holder of the Scholarship must be undertaking a PhD on a subject in either economics or economic history. The deadline to submit applications is 4pm (GMT) on 29 November.
