The Editorial Board of Investigaciones de Historia Económica – Economic History Research (IHE-EHR) will organize a Fast Track session at the conference of the Spanish Economic History Association (AEHE in Spanish) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on 21-24 January 2025, to publish high-quality articles following a faster-than-usual review process. To this aim, we invite scholars interested in publishing in IHE-EHR to submit article proposals in the field of economic history. Young researchers are especially encouraged to apply.

Those interested should send an extended abstract of the paper (600 words) and a short CV (max. 2 pages) no later than May 31, 2024. We accept submissions in English and Spanish. The most promising papers will be selected for the Fast Track session and the final version of the manuscript will be submitted no later than November 29, 2024.

The articles will be reviewed faster than usual, as referee reports are expected to be received by authors 30 days after submission at most.
